CERT volunteers receive free training on disaster preparedness and response skills so they can support their communities and emergency responders in case of disaster. Often times, immediately after a disaster, community members rely on each other for help before emergency personnel arrive at the scene. CERT volunteers are trained to provide skilled assistance in these instances to help not only their loved ones and local community, but emergency responders as well.
Siletz Valley Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Siletz Valley Fire District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
