Kevin Jones is a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant and Wildland Firefighter with a passion for serving his community. Born in Medford, Oregon, in 1971, Kevin has always been drawn to helping others. As a child, he dreamed of becoming an Engine Boss for the Forest Service.

Kevin's love for the outdoors is evident in his favorite hobbies: hiking, hunting, fishing, and spending time at the beach. He's also a fan of traveling, with Las Vegas and Disneyland as his top destinations.

Kevin is a devoted husband to Jodie Baxter-Jones and proud father of four children: Forrest, Madison, Chelsea, and Travis. He's also a dog dad to Rosie and Bella.

Sports-wise, Kevin cheers for the San Francisco Giants, Denver Broncos, and NASCAR's #22 Joey Lagono. Kevin is dedicated to various causes and has a unique background himself, having spent 15 years as a Certified Wildland Firefighter before joining the Siletz Fire District in February 2023. His extensive experience in wildland firefighting has equipped him with specialized skills and a deep understanding of fire management, making him a valuable asset to the team.

As a CMA, Kevin enjoys the variety that comes with each day. His most significant accomplishment is becoming more knowledgeable in the medical field, and he hopes to continue helping people in the industry. His advice to younger individuals is to chase their dreams and never give up.

Kevin brings his expertise in Wildland Firefighting to the Siletz Fire District and enjoys the sense of family among the team. His favorite memory so far is the constant learning and involvement in community events like open houses and parades.
